<headline>FORD SCORES A HAT-TRICK AT FLEET WORLD HONOURS...</headline>

Ford’s new 1.0-litre turbo-powered EcoBoost engine has won the Innovation Award at the 2012 Fleet World Honours, joining Ranger and Transit to form a hat-trick of Ford prize winners.
The Fleet World Honours are presented annually by the magazine and web publishing group to manufacturers that have excelled in their sector.
Fleet World editor Steve Moody said: “Diesel dominates the fleet industry, but with its brilliant new EcoBoost engine, Ford has proved that petrol can offer an alternative. Already available in the Focus, this small, turbo-charged 125PS engine is a game changer.”
Fleet World’s Innovation Award is the second prize in as many months for the 1.0-litre turbo direct-injection unit. In April the EcoBoost-equipped Ford Focus was named Best Company Car by Business Car Manager.
The new power unit delivers high levels of performance and refinement combined with the fuel economy advantages of downsizing. It produces 125PS and 170Nm peak torque (200Nm with overboost) between 1,400 and 4,500rpm. These output figures are achieved in combination with fuel economy of 56.5mpg – a 20 per cent improvement over the outgoing 1.6-litre 125PS unit.
Commercial vehicle success
Transit won the prize for Best Large Van in the Van Fleet World Honours – the third year in succession that the Transit family has received an accolade. In 2010 Transit Connect was dubbed Best Small Van and last year Transit was voted Best Medium Van.
Van Fleet World editor John Kendall said: “It has been the best-selling van in Britain for the past 47 years and there’s no denying Ford’s thorough approach to engineering the Transit, nor the all-round quality of the product. Ford was the first to offer a choice of front- or rear-wheel drive in the 3.5-tonne sector 12 years ago, giving fleets a comprehensive choice of drivetrain and body styles according to need.
“That continues with Transit to this day. Ford offers a vast range of body styles and chassis, as well as its One Stop Shop ready-bodied conversions.”
Ranger earned its win as Best Pick-Up thanks to its unrivalled choice of options and ‘SUV-like’ driving controls, said Kendall. “Power comes from an adapted version of the British-built Transit diesel engine offering 125hp and 150hp, plus a 3.2-litre five-cylinder 200hp option, and there’s a choice of two- and four-wheel-drive models. Ford is offering three cabs: single, extended ‘super cab’ and double cab. It’s a comprehensive list and an award winner.”
Ford of Britain fleet director Kevin Griffin said: “The Fleet World Awards are among the most competitive and firmly judged in the fleet industry, so to collect prizes for our commercial fleet mainstay the Transit, as well as for Ranger and the exciting new 1.0-litre EcoBoost engine, is a testament to the passion and hard work involved in developing these great products.”

THE NORTH WEST 200...

<headline>FRONT ROW START FOR MCGUINNESS AT NW200...</headline>

A wet second Superbike practice at the North West 200 means that Tuesday’s dry lap times still stand and Honda TT Legends’ John McGuinness will start Ireland’s most famous road race from second on the grid. His team-mate and NW200 newcomer Simon Andrews will begin from 19th.
After a morning of consistent rain, the Superbike riders took to the 8.9 mile triangle circuit with caution this afternoon. The hour-long session ended with McGuinness at the top of the timesheet while Andrews was not far behind in third. The two Superbike races will go ahead on Saturday 19 May with the starting positions determined by the times recorded during the dry session on Tuesday.
John McGuinnessThe grid positions from Tuesday still stand, so that puts us on the front row of the grid. I was out there in the wet splashing around this afternoon and we were fastest, which is unusual for me. I’m normally dithering around like an old nurse in the wet! I got a good feel for it so we’re in the hunt and I’m looking forward to Saturday now. I just hope the sun shines.
Simon AndrewsThere was no way to improve on our times today so we concentrated on set-up instead. We made some changes to the bike to make me feel more comfortable and I knew we were going in the right direction. I was up in second behind John and I just got knocked down to third at the end there. To be running those times and at that position in the wet was good and hopefully I can build on that to be the same in the dry. The more track time I have the better I go, so I’m looking forward to Saturday.
Following a low-speed crash in the first Superstock practice on Tuesday, Gary Johnson completed today's session to qualify 41st for this evening’s race, which will start at 18.15.

RENAULT...

<headline>RENAULT TRUCKS FIRST 26 TONNE HYBRID ENTERS UK SERVICE..! </headline>

Renault Trucks UK Ltd has today handed over the keys to its first 26t hybrid to enter service in the UK to Norbert Dentressangle. The vehicle, a 26t rigid Renault Premium Distribution Hybrys, will operate from Norbert Dentressangle’s depot in Aylesford, Kent. It will be making deliveries into London, often at night and in the early morning, where the benefits of the diesel-electric hybrid technology in terms of low noise, reduced emissions and improved fuel consumption will really come into its own. Renault Trucks believes this is the first UK registered 26t hybrid to go into service in the UK on a ‘distribution’ operation.
Renault Trucks’ hybrid technology is particularly suited to this type of distribution operation in urban environments. In addition to an appreciable saving in fuel consumption, which can be as high as 20% with optimum use, it also significantly cuts noise levels for those living in the vicinity, to no more than 74 dB, again when in all-electric mode. This being the equivalent of two people talking in low voices.
The new Renault Premium Hybrys Tech going into service with Norbert Dentressangle UK is a 26t 6x2 310hp vehicle with a 8.4m box body with tail lift.
It will be supported in service by two specially accredited ‘Clean Tech’ dealers in Renault Trucks’ UK network. MV Trucks at Maidstone and Renault Trucks Essex in Grays. Staff at both dealerships have been fully trained to service and maintain the vehicle and have invested in special bays, tooling and equipment to meet Renault Trucks’ Clean Tech standards for alternative energy vehicles.
RENAULT PREMIUM DISTRIBUTION HYBRYS: HOW IT WORKS
Renault Trucks has been perfecting its hybrid technology over the last few years & continues to develop its solutions to meet the growing needs of operators for quieter, more fuel efficient & less polluting vehicles.
The Renault Premium Distribution Hybrys is already in operation in a number of companies, including SITA and the Greater Lyon Authority for refuse collection and building site supply, plus Colas and Coca-Cola for distribution operations. Norbert Dentressangle has also been operating two Renault Trucks’ hybrids in Lyon & Paris for the last ten months. Demonstrating the wide breadth of operations this technology is suitable for.
Parallel hybrid technology
This type of diesel-electric hybrid is known as ‘parallel’ hybrid technology, combining an internal combustion engine with an electric motor. They supply power to the wheels according to different distribution scenarios: either with both in parallel, or separately.
The principle of this technology developed by Renault Trucks is very straightforward: the vehicle's kinetic energy is recovered during braking or deceleration phases and converted into electricity. This is stored in the traction batteries which therefore operate perfectly independently and do not need to be recharged.

An engine shut down function enables the internal combustion engine to be automatically switched off when the vehicle is at a standstill. When the vehicle is started up again, the energy stored in the batteries is used to power the electric motor. At a speed of up to 20 km/hour, the diesel engine starts up and takes over. It is then only used in the phases during which it consumes the least, i.e. apart from the start-up phase.
The electrical energy is also used to power the safety and comfort functions which are usually connected to the internal combustion engine, such as the power steering or the cooling system for the electrical equipment.

All of this results in the vehicle's overall consumption and CO2 emissions being reduced by up to 20%.
Apart from reducing emissions, hybrid technology generates very little noise pollution - no more than 74 dB when operating in all-electric mode.
Under these conditions, hybrid technology proves to be perfectly adapted to early morning or even night-time urban applications, which are constantly alternating between phases of acceleration and deceleration.
Renault Trucks Clean Tech vehicles
To meet the environmental challenge road transport now has to face and its customers' growing demand for vehicles that pollute less, particularly in built-up areas, Renault Trucks has been developing alternative technologies to diesel for several years. These include electricity*, hybrid solutions and also compressed natural gas* (CNG). Vehicles using these three types of energy are covered by the Clean Tech label and are mainly designed for applications in urban environments. (*Not currently available in the UK.)
Concerned by the need to provide a quality of maintenance identical to that offered for vehicles powered by internal combustion engines, Renault Trucks has developed a specific accreditation, ‘Clean Tech’ which is awarded to qualifying repairers in its network. This is because with these new technologies it is necessary to develop specific skills and install the appropriate tools required for servicing this type of vehicle.
In the UK dealer network, MV Trucks at Maidstone and Renault Trucks Essex at Grays have made investments in the region of £10,000 in the necessary tooling and equipment to enable them to meet the Clean Tech standard, which includes a designated bay to handle this vehicle, due to the additional electrical requirements.
Additionally, both dealerships have invested in the training of their workshop and customer service staff to ensure that the Norbert Dentressangle hybrid is properly supported in operation.

MANBY MOTORPLEX...

<headline>MANBY MOTORPLEX FOR SALE: A UNIQUE OPPORTUNITY TO PURCHASE A SUCCESSFUL MOTORSPORT AND DRIVER EXPERIENCE VENUE...</headline>

Manby Motorplex For Sale: A unique opportunity to purchase a successful motorsport and driver experience venue with prime agricultural land
A rare and unique opportunity to purchase one of the UK’s most popular driver experience and motorsport venues brimming with potential has arisen – Manby Motorplex, near Louth in Lincolnshire is up for sale, for offers over £3.5 million.
The stunning, huge, multifaceted and incredibly well-equipped 440 acre site currently operates as a successful motorsport venue and driver experience/training centre offering skid pan, rally and 4x4 school, artic HGV experiences, tank driving days etc. to both private and corporate clients.
Offers have been received for the site for agricultural use, but the seller is keen to maintain Manby as a motorsport venue. The Motorplex site includes:

130 acres for motorsport use and a rich array of driver training experiences including over 100 acres of amazing rough terrain off-roading ground, more than five miles of loose surface special stages for rallying including ‘1000 Lakes’ style high speed ‘yumps’ and banked camber bends, a huge skid pan course and tank/HGV/army vehicle/bus driving areas.
25 acres of concrete including a 2.3-mile perimeter road/circuit.
Planning permission for use as a performance driving centre and Showground since 1990.
Its own airstrip.
Over 300 acres of prime agricultural land (currently rented out @ c£140 per acre, giving a superb revenue stream).

Manby Motorplex was developed over decades from farmland by MD James Tointon, who has a passion for motorsport and driver training and has taught the likes of WRC and gymkhana star, Ken Block and various top clubman rally drivers over the years at Manby.
Mr Tointon said: “It’s incredibly sad to be selling Manby Motorplex. It has a high agricultural value, but we have split the site into lots, so the motorsport side could be purchased separately. I’d be very happy to see it run as a motorsport venue, having worked so hard to keep it as a motorsport and motoring venue for all these years.
“In an ideal world, I’d like to see someone buy the site, develop its massive potential and keep running the popular events, school activities and all we already do here, and keep on the excellent staff. It’s a truly special, unique place and it would be a shame to see a great motorsport venue lost to be developed as housing or turned back to all agriculture, after years of hard work and investment.”
The stunning, incredibly versatile site in the valleys just south of the busy market town of Louth in Lincolnshire has been used for motorsport since the 1980s, including: Car rallies, 4x4 trials and challenges, competition safaris, hill rallies, rallycross, supermoto, moto x, motorcycle enduros, grasstrack and quad racing.
And this motorsport activity is in addition to the skid pan/rally/4x4/HGV school and fun/corporate driver experience days like double decker buses, tanks, diggers, bulldozers, army vehicles and more for companies like Red Letter Days and Virgin Incentives, as well as to Manby’s own extensive database of clients.
Manby has also been used as a test venue for the development of major manufacturer vehicles, rally cars, road cars, 4x4 off-roaders and more over the past three decades. And it’s a very popular venue for film and TV crews including both Top Gear TV and D-Motor and Turbo TV in Germany as well as members of the media as a location.
Additionally, Manby used to hold the popular Wheels Shows in the 1990’s, attracting over 35,000 visitors to one show with 8,000 exhibitors, competitors and traders staying on site and 14 different motorsport events taking place simultaneously –¬ including 4x4 trials, comps, moto x, supermotos, grass track racing, mud runs, tractor pulling and even lawnmower racing. The spacious site has also held classic cars shows, custom vehicle shows, tank and heavy vehicle trials and popular car boot sales, to name but a few events.
As well as the motorsport, driver school, events and agricultural rental activities on site, there is also potential planning permission for motorsport-related industrial estate units, a clubhouse, further roads for motorsport and even eco homes (the site was once short listed as the UK’s first venue for a 5,000 home eco town). Manby Motorplex also includes an old RAF control tower, spacious workshops and storage and an operations centre – currently being used as a base for the driving school and motorsport business activities.
The site is being sold for personal reasons, to settle a divorce and James Tointon, Manby MD says: “It is with great sadness that we are selling the site and business. I’ve developed the off-road area, rally stages and motorsport and motoring activities from scratch over the years more as a hobby, than a business and people love it here. I’ve lost count of the 1,000’s of incredibly positive comments we’ve had for our unique courses and for the venue – including from World Rally driving star, Ken Block.
“People are amazed how much they learn with us here at Manby. We may not have the shiny cars people like their picture taken with, but people come here to get value for money, to learn and to chuck a car about properly and test it to its limits. That’s a rare and popular formula we’ve found. Our courses are challenging and we love teaching people… and there’s so much we can do with people here at Manby, with its unique, different, challenging venues.
“We are really hoping whoever buys Manby will preserve this venue for motorsport use. There’s a great business here already and so, so much potential left in the site to develop. The five miles of loose rally stages we have require minimal maintenance and are great stages. The limitation is they can’t be used in the wet. But we’ve had interest from the Minicross Drivers Association to develop extra tarmac and gravel stages on site – at their own cost – which would make Manby a leading rally and rallycross venue.
“Manby is already a leading off-road motorsport and hobbyist venue, with acres of some of the most challenging and difficult 4x4 routes in the UK, offering all types of off road challenges, in one compact, diverse area. And the many activities we offer on site for corporate, stag and hen parties and members of the public are a huge success. Manby attracts 1,000’s of clients year on year, many of whom come back, again and again, thanks to its unique charms and the quality of the courses, instructors, staff and facilities on offer here, not to mention the picturesque location.”

Kwik Fit recruited its first apprentice in 1992, and in the 20 years since then, over 1,000 apprentices have passed through the company’s training programme. The company has four training academies in Derby, Gloucester, Harlow and Broxburn, together providing over 15,000 days of training per year.
Paul Binks, head of learning and development at Kwik Fit, said: “We are investing heavily in training apprentices, because we recognise they are the long term lifeblood of our business. We are committed to providing long term, on-going training, and the results can be seen by the fact that our apprentices rise up the ranks within the company. We are confident that many of our 2012 recruits will be managing our centres in the years to come.”
David Way, chief executive of the NAS, said: “Kwik Fit’s commitment to training and development is very impressive and it is clear what a significant investment they are making to their Apprenticeship scheme. Today’s announcement is really good news, coming at a time when we are working with employers to ensure that all Apprenticeship programmes are of the highest quality.”
A Kwik Fit Apprenticeship lasts two years and provides five additional units of qualification compared to an equivalent course carried out in college environment. Kwik Fit’s training programme has been rating ‘outstanding’ by Ofsted, and the company has been awarded ‘Beacon’ status by the Learning and Skills Improvement Service. These are some of the reasons why places are highly sought after. Last year, Kwik Fit received more than 18000 applications for 120 places.
Those interested in applying for an Apprenticeship at Kwik Fit should visit http://careers.kwik-fit.com/. The closing date for applications for the current intake is Friday 25 May, further recruitment will take place throughout the remainder of the year.

<headline>MERCEDES-BENZ WINS A BRACE OF FLEET WORLD HONOURS – FOUR YEARS IN A ROW...</headline>

Mercedes-Benz UK is today celebrating yet another double win for both car and van at the Fleet World Honours – its fourth doubles win in a row!The Mercedes-Benz CLS-Class has knocked the S-Class off the top spot to pick up Best Luxury Car, and the mighty Sprinter van has received the prestigious Safety Award; a Fleet World Honours award win every year since 2008 for the Sprinter. The trophies were presented at a special ceremony held at the Royal Automobile Club, Pall Mall on Wednesday 16th May.The CLS has the elegance and dynamism of a coupé with the comfort and functionality of a saloon and was the first Mercedes-Benz vehicle to have frameless, all-aluminium doors, as well as being the first passenger car in the world to offer LED High Performance headlamps as standard (for Sport models). With more than a dozen driving assistance systems including Active Blind Spot Assist and Active Lane Keeping Assist, which is now linked to ESP for first time, the CLS-Class builds on the pioneering four-door coupé design of its predecessor, while forging an entirely new identity.Mercedes-Benz vehicles follow the philosophy that there is no such thing as too much safety. The Sprinter van has always led the way in this field, and was one of the first vans in the UK market to be fitted with ESP electronic stability control and a front bulkhead as standard. With new additions like ADAPTIVE ESP®, an innovative driving dynamics control system which for the first time takes the load situation of the vehicle into account and combines the functions of the anti-lock braking system (ABS), acceleration skid control (ASR), electronic brake force distribution (EBD), Brake Assist (BAS) and the optional Start-off Assist system (AAS), the Sprinter is still one of the safest vans on the road today.Commenting on the Best Luxury Car Award win, Fleet World Editor, Steve Moody, said: “It may not be the most practical, but the brilliant CLS offers luxurious, stylish motoring thanks to its elegant lines and classy cabin. For those at the top end of the executive sector, or somebody looking for a luxurious limousine at a very competitive price, the CLS provides the answer.”Van Fleet World Editor, John Kendall, said of the Sprinter: “Safety has been ingrained in the Mercedes-Benz culture for many more years than many of its rivals and that’s as true of its commercial vehicles as its cars. The Sprinter was the first van to be fitted with ESP and load-sensing ESP as standard, followed by the Vito, while this feature is still not standard on all rival models. And there’s a long list of safety options available with Mercedes-Benz vans from airbags to reversing cameras, tyre pressure monitoring, headlamps with cornering function and many more. Most of these features have been available for some time and it’s only recently that rivals have started to catch up.”The Fleet World Honours are presented annually to those motor manufacturers, service companies and individuals who have, in the opinion of the judges, achieved the highest possible level of excellence in their sector. The judging panel is chaired by Steve Moody, Editor of Fleet World, and includes John Kendall, Alex Grant and Ross Durkin from the Fleet World editorial team. Residual value, maintenance and reliability data is provided by ALD Automotive, Hitachi Capital Vehicle Solutions, Lex Autolease, LeasePlan and Arval. Market value data is provided by EurotaxGlass and VIPDATA.Nick Andrews, Head of Fleet at Mercedes-Benz UK, added: “To be crowned as Best Luxury Car at the Fleet World Honours for the previous three years was fantastic, but to be crowned again this year with another exceptional product in the CLS, is truly outstanding.”Steve Bridge, Van Sales and Marketing Director at Mercedes-Benz UK, concluded: “It is recognition of the strength of the Sprinter to be collecting an award at the Fleet World Honours for four consecutive years. For the 2012 award to be a safety one is a fantastic acknowledgement of the innovations that the Sprinter has championed.”

FORD...

<headline>INNOVATIVE FORD “EASY FUEL” SYSTEM COUNTERS RISING FUEL THEFTS..!</headline>

Ford’s Easy Fuel system which prevents the expensive mistake of misfuelling is also proving a deterrent to petrol and diesel thieves.
The escalating value of fuel has led to thefts from vehicles increasing by 25 per cent in the past year to a reported 4,500 cases in the UK annually.
While Ford Easy Fuel – fitted as standard to top-selling models including Ford Fiesta, Ford Focus and Ford Mondeo – was designed to make refuelling simple and error-free, it also makes syphoning extremely difficult.
“Our novel Easy Fuel feature ensures that Ford owners put the right fuel in their car,” said Andy Barratt, Ford Britain sales director. “Another customer benefit is that it acts as a deterrent by slowing down the fuel thief.”
The technology behind Easy Fuel adds extra layers of security behind the external fuel filler opening, which is anyway secured as part of the vehicle’s central locking, to inhibit forced entry and syphoning.
Easy Fuel’s spring-loaded flap is held closed by two latches that can only be released by a standard-size fuel nozzle. When the proper nozzle is inserted into the filler neck of the system, the latches release and the nozzle pushes the spring-loaded flap to the open position. When the nozzle is removed, the flap is automatically and firmly closed by the spring.
Easy Fuel also has a patented inhibitor designed to prevent improper fuelling and syphoning.
The inhibitor consists of a fuel nozzle detector that guides the nozzle to the opening. If a nozzle or foreign tube of a different size – a diesel nozzle or plastic hose, for example – is placed in the filler neck of a petrol-powered vehicle, the latches will not release. For a diesel-powered vehicle, the inhibitor will keep out the smaller nozzles.
Another deterrent in Ford vehicles stems from its refuelling vapour recovery system. The purpose is to prevent vapours from escaping during fuelling, but syphoning efforts are also thwarted because it closes automatically after the process starts by detecting the pressure of liquid fuel as it passes.

SEAT...

<headline>SEAT ADDS SPANISH FLAVOUR TO GTI TREFFEN 2012...</headline>

SEAT is once again a star attraction at the exciting GTI Treffen event at Wörthersee in Austria, with a host of head-turning models that reinforce the Barcelona brand’s dynamic character.
The annual hot-hatch fest, which takes place in the Austrian state of Kärnten, is being held from 16 to 19 May – and SEAT is treating the vast crowds to six particularly fiery variants of the Leon, Ibiza and, for the first time, the Mii. In their full racing gear, track cars the Ibiza SC Trophy and Leon Super Copa are at the core of the SEAT display’s racing theme, while the Mii show car in FR Line configuration appears at GTI Treffen for the first time. For this year’s extravaganza – already in its 31st year – the organisers are predicting to host around 120,000 visitors over the four days of the show.
Ibiza Cupra Concept is the starThe focal point of the SEAT stand – which has been created in line with the brand’s new visual identity – is the Ibiza Cupra Concept, a close-to-production glimpse of the new generation of this sporty SEAT icon. Just back from its world premiere at the Auto China Show in Beijing just a few weeks ago, the model’s 1.4 TSI packs 180 PS with looks to match the promise of that award-winning motor. The Spice Yellow paintwork contrasts with gloss-black exterior mirrors and 17-inch alloy wheels, with red brake callipers shimmering through the spokes. A particularly large trapezoidal lower air intake emphasises the breadth of this compact sports car, while the angular lines of the headlamps underscore SEAT’s new design philosophy.
Ibiza FR and Leon Cupra R in individual designOne Ibiza and one Leon, each painted in Nevada white, showcase in their individual designs a host of options from the SEAT accessory range. The Ibiza FR on display in Reifnitz proudly wears 17-inch wheels in black and polished silver, exterior mirrors and brake callipers painted in red, and an enlarged rear spoiler. Red accents also dominate the interior. On the Leon Cupra R, visual drama comes courtesy of the glossy black rims which contrast perfectly with the ice-white paintwork. Like the Ibiza FR, the eye is also drawn to the red colour of the brake calliper nestling behind each alloy wheel. Inside, piano black lacquer trim inserts make for a stylishly sporty ambience.
Pimp my Mii – tuning for SEAT’s babyFor the first time, SEAT is showing a Mii with an added injection of sporty character. The Tornado Red city car turns heads with its powerful presence, complete with black highlights on the wheelarches, an additional spoiler accent and black 16-inch aluminium wheels. Red and black elements make their mark in the interior, too. The sports seats with fully integrated head restraints come with distinctive red FR lettering.
Ibiza SC Trophy and Leon Super Copa for the race trackTwo further showpieces hold a licence to compete on the track – the Leon Super Copa and the Ibiza SC Trophy. They are shown at the Wörthersee festival with a special grey paint finish and wheels, while the mirror casings and roll cage are in fluorescent orange.
The Ibiza SC Trophy is now based on the new generation of the Ibiza and is fitted with the 180 PS 1.4 TSI engine. The seven-speed DSG transmission is operated from the steering wheel, as will be the case on the series-production model, while a locking differential guarantees amazing traction. For the high lateral forces that occur under serious racing conditions, the engine comes with a modified oil sump, a powerful brake system and racing suspension running on 18-inch wheels housed under noticeably flared wheel arches. Inside, the dashboard is more minimalist than the series-production version and provides only data truly relevant to racing drivers. The Ibiza SC Trophy is offered by SEAT Sport for 31,500 Euros (excl. tax) and is the ideal starting machine for amateur racing drivers. Single-brand race series are currently running very successfully in Spain and Italy.
At a price of 63,000 Euros (excl. tax), the 250 km/h Leon Super Copa represents the more senior league of SEAT Motorsport. Based on its sibling racer from the WTCC, more than 250 units of this model have already been built. The cup car is powered by an uprated version of the 2.0-litre TSI engine from the Leon Cupra R that produces 300 PS. A maximum of 340 Nm of torque travels through a six-speed DSG transmission and mechanically locking differential to the front wheels.
VIP party on the SEAT boat and chill-out zoneThe many peripheral events organised by SEAT at the GTI Treffen include a VIP party on the SEAT boat, which will also serve on Thursday as a shuttle service over the lake. During the entire duration of the event, DJs on both the SEAT stand and SEAT boat will be lining up hot music to accompany cool drinks.
The SEAT movie team is also once again on-location. Alongside video productions for the media and Web, it will be making short films with owners of the most eye-catching examples of SEAT tuning and uploading them later to the Facebook page of SEAT Austria.
The stand is designed in line with the new SEAT corporate identity. In bright white with light colours and featuring the diagonal line as a dynamic design theme, it conveys the youth and emotional character of the brand – like the entire SEAT presence at Wörthersee.

CLARION...

<headline>ENHANCED AUDIO ENJOYMENT AS CLARION CONSOLIDATES CONNECTIVITY...</headline>

Clarion – a global leader in mobile electronics – has launched a new flagship in-car audio unit, with new technology tie-ups and an increased emphasis on the high-end audio experience making the CZ702E the standout single DIN solution for 2012.
The CD/USB/MP3/WMA radio with built-in Bluetooth offers a whole host of premium audio features, such as Digital Time Alignment, 5 band parametric equalizer, 24 bit Digital to Analogue Converter, 50W x 4 amplifiers, digital 2 or 3-way crossovers, and 5 volt 6 channel RCA outputs for a far superior system installation.
Despite the prevalence of Bluetooth technology as standard in in-car audio systems purchased on the high street, Clarion’s new relationship with premium provider Parrot Bluetooth ensures that its supporting units now offer the greatest level of mobile phone compatibility on the market. Maximum hands-free communication – via the built-in microphone and multiple phonebook access – and unrivalled audio streaming are both possible with the minimum of fuss.
Clarion has also long-since recognised its customer’s desire and need for fully integrated operation of Apple’s iconic mobile media device, the iPod. Utilising Clarion’s solution, ‘Simple Control’, is made straight-forward by connecting an iPod or iPhone via the USB cable supplied with the device, to allow operation using the iPod/iPhone controls that you’re used to using, in addition to control direct through the source unit.
In addition, the ABC Search function lets you list the names of Songs and Artists stored on the device that start with the alphabet letter you choose. This is much more convenient than scrolling through long lists, or having to enter a specific name. What’s more, your iPod or iPhone battery is charged while connected to the source unit, so it’s ready to go at full power the moment you reach your destination.
In line with an increased use of video via both devices, Clarion’s CZ702E will also support playback of MP4 file formats with the optional addition of a CCA750 cable and external monitor.
With a host of in-car audio ‘firsts’ behind it, Clarion has crammed all its expertise in sound reproduction techniques into the top of the range single DIN showpiece.
Digital Time Alignment ensures the sound from each speaker reaches the listener at the same time, for perfect sound imaging, whilst the digital 2 or 3-way crossover guarantees that each speaker receives an optimised signal.
Built-in high pass and low pass filters and Beat EQ pre-sets (BASS BOOST, IMPACT and EXCITE) allow greater customisation and with separate subwoofer volume control, the impressive 4 x 50 Watt internal amplifier is put to good use.
With analogue radio’s date of demise in the UK remaining a hot topic for debate, Clarion has at least ensured its top of the range audio head unit is DAB ready, with the optional addition of a DAB302E hide-away receiver allowing access to DAB/DAB+/DMB-A radio stations.
With 29% of all radio listening now done via digital platforms, and digital-only stations accounting for almost 25% of all digital listening, Clarion’s CZ702E features a host of methods to search for an expanding list of exclusive channels, as well as further helpful features and functions designed to maximise enjoyment.
Embracing style as well as substance, the CZ702E benefits from a fresh design impetus for 2012; featuring a large rotary volume control, a white LCD display (13 segment 10 x 2 Line), piano black fascia and variable 728 colour button and display illumination, allowing for a more seamless integration into any dashboard configuration.
The CZ702E and DAB302E hide-away receiver will be available from April via Clarion’s dedicated network of appointed dealers, priced at RRP £229 and £149 respectively.

PORSCHE...

	<headline>PORSCHE 918 SPYDER DEVELOPMENT RACES AHEAD...</headline>

The Porsche 918 Spyder is on the road. Driving trials of the super sports car of the future has progressed a step further with completion of the initial prototypes. The 918 Spyder will go into production at the end of September 2013 as planned, with the first customers receiving their vehicles before the end of that year.
“What we are doing with the 918 Spyder is redefining driving fun, efficiency and performance,” said Wolfgang Hatz, Member of the Executive Board Research and Development of Porsche AG.
With their camouflage harking back to historical Porsche 917 racing cars, the prototypes signal the final touches to the 918 Spyder. The focus is on the integration of the highly sophisticated individual drive components. The combination of a combustion engine and two independent electric motors – one on the front axle and one in the drive line, acting on the rear wheels – poses completely new demands on the development of the operating strategies. “They are therefore a critical component in this vehicle into which we have put all of our expertise and capacity for innovation,” continued Hatz.
These operating strategies and the development of the software to go with them are one of the core competencies at Porsche. The two disciplines have a major influence on the extremely high level of driving enjoyment offered by the 918 Spyder and they deliver a unique combination of minimal fuel consumption and maximum performance. The initial results of the driving trials are in line with the high expectations placed on the 918 Spyder.
The super sports car is designed as a plug-in hybrid vehicle combining a high performance combustion engine with cutting-edge electric motors for extraordinary performance: on the one hand, the dynamics of a racing machine boasting more than 770 hp, on the other hand, fuel consumption in the region of three litres per 100 km.
As a technology showcase, the 918 Spyder breaks further new ground with spectacular solutions such as the full carbon fibre reinforced plastic (CFRP) monocoque with unit carrier, fully adaptive aerodynamics, adaptive rear axle steering and the upward-venting ‘top pipes’ exhaust system.
In the process, the 918 Spyder is offering a glimpse of what Porsche Intelligent Performance may be capable of in future.

<headline>VOLKSWAGEN INTRODUCES STANDARD DAB RADIO FROM POLO TO PHAETON...</headline>

Volkswagen is tuning in to customer demand and fitting DAB radios as standard on all models from the Polo to the Phaeton, giving buyers not only a wider choice of radio stations but also a higher quality of sound.
The change means all 2013 model-year Volkswagens, from the Polo to the Phaeton, will be ready for the UK’s switch to digital radio. Digital radio not only offers listeners clear, crackle-free sound, but it also gives them a bigger choice of radio stations than is available through conventional FM or AM broadcasts alone. Listening options range from specialist music stations to comedy, current affairs and, of course, the all-important cricket coverage.
Naturally, all of Volkswagen’s audio systems will still be able to pick up conventional FM or AM analogue radio signals, as well as play audio CDs (including MP3 files), while every model in the Volkswagen range comes with an aux-in socket, to allow the connection of external audio devices such as an iPod or MP3 player.
To make the most of the higher quality of digital audio, every model from the Polo S upwards now comes with at least six speakers (the majority of models have eight speakers), connected to a standard RCD 310 audio unit or better.
Upgrade options include the MDI multi-device interface, which allows easy connection of iPods or USB sticks, which can then be controlled via the car’s audio system; Bluetooth connection of compatible telephones; Bluetooth music playback; audiophile-pleasing speakers and amplifiers from Danish specialist Dynaudio; higher-power audio systems with colour touchscreen controls and an SD memory card slot; and touchscreen satellite navigation systems, including with built-in HD memory. Beetle models may also be optionally ordered with an audio system developed in conjunction with legendary guitar and amplifier manufacturer, Fender.
The 2013 model-year vehicles can be ordered from your Volkswagen retailer now. For more information visit www.volkswagen.co.uk.

<headline>G-POWER DELIVERS THE 100th M5 HURRICANE – THE JUBILEE M5 HURRICANE RRs WITH 830hp IS THE MOST POWERFUL IN THE WORLD... </headline>

G-POWER delivers a M5 HURRICANE for the 100th time – the Jubilee Model M5 HURRICANE RRs with 830 hp – the most powerful version in the world
After the G-POWER M5 HURRICANE RR with twin-supercharger engine and 800 hp/588 kW has set a new High-Speed record with 372 km/h in 2010, improving the old G-POWER record from 2008, the demand for this power sedan with supercharged V10 engine just exploded. So, today already the 100th G-POWER HURRICANE is leaving the G-POWER workshop in Autenzell as a jubilee model with an additional 30 hp output increase.
G-POWER M5 HURRICANE RRs
· 800 hp / 588 kW at 7.500 r/min (+ 293 hp / 215 kW)
· 780 Nm at 6.500 r/min (+ 260 Nm)
· Top speed: 372 km/h
· 0-100 km/h: 4,3s
· 0-200 km/h: 9,1s
· 0-100 km/h: 25,2s
· G-POWER Bi-Kompressor system SK III RRs „Sporty Drive“
· G-POWER 20´´ SILVERSTONE DIAMOND wheels
· G-POWER coilover suspension GM5-RS
· G-POWER brake system for front and rear axle
The light blue G-POWER M5 HURRICANE RRs is equipped with a reworked version of the high-revving V10 engine modified by G-POWER and supercharged by a BI-Kompressor “Sporty Drive” system. Therefore the two superchargers named ASA T1-313 have been replaced by larger ASA T1-316 units. They are both driven by a belt and do provide each cylinder bank with supercharged air. Further down the line the pre-compressed air from the superchargers is cooled for a maximum power output. A complicated aluminium casting - painted in G-POWER orange - replaces the standard air box on top of the engine, and its direct inlet is responsible for the spontaneous response characteristics which give the G-POWER motor its incomparable response and also much more torque.
The inner workings of the 10-cylinder, four-valve engine are optimised by light, precisely balanced MAHLE high-performance forged pistons with lower compression and increased mechanical strength. As the standard connecting rods and piston pins were equally not up to the considerably increased forces, here too, recourse was had to special parts. The switch to an Alpha-N engine management system and hence the elimination of the air mass sensors also contributes to the increased power output of 830 hp / 610 kW, available between 7,500 and 8,000 rpm. The engine delivers its peak of torque of 780 Nm at 6,500 rpm.
The periphery of the engine, especially the exhaust system and the fuel supply system, needs to be modified as well in order to match with the new requirements. A G-POWER SPEEDFLOW exhaust system with two racing catalysts minimizes the exhaust backpressure and a G-POWER stainless steel rear muffler with DEEPTONE technology and 4 x 83 mm tail pipes featuring the M-Design completes the exhaust system of the M5 HURRICANE RRs. The capacity of the fuel supply system is upgraded with fuel injectors with enlarged mass flow and the use of an additional high performance fuel pump. An electronic control unit designed by G-POWER enables the additional third fuel pump to operated boost related. This set up guaranties and reliable fuel supply under all conditions.
Prepared like this the G-POWER HURRICANE RRs does not only set new performance standards for top speed. With an acceleration of just 4.3 seconds from standstill to 100 km/h, 9.1 seconds from standstill to 200 km/h and 25,2 seconds from standstill to 300 km/h the two-ton sedan is also leading his class.
Two tons of weight and a top speed of more than 370 km/h naturally require extreme demands on the tires, being fitted on special G-POWER wheels. Our technology partner Michelin provided high-performance Pilot Sport tires in the dimensions 255/35 ZR 19 at the front axle and 305/30 ZR 19 at the rear axle for this reason. For every day use the G-POWER HURRICANE RRs runs on 20-inch SILVERSTONE DIAMOND wheels with the dimensions 255/35 ZR 20 and 285/30 ZR 20 front and rear.
Even more contributions to the HURRICANE RRs’s high-speed talents are coming from a height-adjustable G-POWER RS coilover suspension that is adjustable for both compression and rebound in nine settings and the high-performance G-POWER brake system with up to six brake pistons and up to 396 mm brake disc diameter for the front axle and 380 mm for the rear axle. The G-POWER brake system enables a substantially higher brake force than the standard brake system. At the same time, the heat generated due to the braking process can be dissipated more effectively. The G-POWER brake package is completed by brake pads with a larger pad area, higher friction rate as well as metal-coated brake lines. With this set-up, the G-POWER Braking System always provides maximum brake force and the braking point remains precise in any case. Of course, G-POWER customers are provided with the choice of rotor material: both steel brake discs and ceramic alternatives (which are about 50% lighter for significantly improved cornering and road handling) are available.
The cost for the G-POWER M5 HURRICANE RRs components start with 1.861,00 € for the G-POWER coilover suspension GM5-RS. Followed by 4.673,00 € for the 20``G-POWER SILVERSTONE DIAMOND wheel set incl. MICHELIN Pilot Super Sport tyres in the dimension 255/35 ZR 20 and 285/30 ZR 20, and 6.466,00 € (Ceramic version 14.460,00 €) for the G-POWER brake system for the front axle and 4.785,00 Euro (Ceramic version 11.788,00 €) for the rear axle. The output increase with the help of the G-POWER SK III RRs „SPORTY DRIVE“ supercharger system for the BMW M5 E60 / E61 and M6 E63 / E64 is listed with 57.000,00 € plus the installation in the G-POWER price list.
Since the company’s founding in 1983, it has focused solely on the tuning of BMW cars and the production of exclusive, handcrafted vehicles. In 2008, G-POWER was integrated into Group ASA, a year in which both brands celebrated their 25th anniversary. G-POWER is now one of the few globally active and highly reputable suppliers of exclusive cars. In cooperation with development partner ASA, G-POWER has developed unique versions of BMW’s most important models, and the world's most powerful versions of each, which clearly sets us apart from our competitors. G-POWER holds five world records:- Fastest BMW sedan with 730hp G-POWER M5 HURRICANE and a top speed of 360 km/h- Fastest LPG-powered car with the 660hp G-POWER M5 HURRCANE GS and a top speed of 333 km/h- Fastest Sedan with the 750hp G-POWER M5 HURRICANE RS on the ATP high-speed oval in Papenburg with a measured top speed of 367.4 km/h. G-POWER exceeded its own record with the 800hp G-POWER M5 HURRICANE RR with a top speed of 372 km/h - Fastest 4-seater coupe with the 750 hp G-POWER M6 HURRCANE CS and a top speed of 370 km/h- Fastest SUV with the 750hp G-POWER M5 Touring HURRCANE RS and a top speed of over 360 km/h (governed)

	<headline>HONDA ANNOUNCES NEW UNI-CUB PERSONAL MOBILITY DEVICE..!</headline>

Honda Motor Co., Ltd. today unveiled the new UNI-CUB, a personal mobility device designed for use by individuals and within public spaces.
Representing an evolution of the U3-X personal mobility concept device that Honda announced in 2009, the UNI-CUB features a compact design with comfortable saddle and offers the same freedom of movement in all directions that a person enjoys while walking. This is achievable by Honda’s development of proprietary balance control technology and the world’s first omni-directional driving wheel system (Honda Omni Traction Drive System) – inspired by robotic technologies developed for Asimo, Honda’s world-famous humanoid robot.
These technologies allow the rider to control speed, move in any direction, turn and stop, all simply by shifting his or her weight. Since the rider can freely move forward, backward, side-to-side and diagonally, he or she can quickly and easily manoeuvre among other people.
Moreover, UNI-CUB’s compact saddle-style packaging makes it easy for the rider’s legs to reach the ground while maintaining eye-level height with other pedestrians. This configuration promotes harmony between the rider and others, letting the rider travel freely and comfortably inside facilities and among moving people.
From June 2012 until March 2013, Honda will jointly conduct demonstration testing of UNI-CUB with Japan’s National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation. Staff will perform demonstrations and use the device for making their rounds, while the museum’s annual pass holders will have the opportunity to test ride UNI-CUB. In addition to testing the feasibility of using UNI-CUB indoors, this project will explore the practical applications of the device in a wide range of environments within Japan and other countries.
Going forward, Honda will continue its proactive research and development of next-generation mobility technologies, with the aim of continually looking for innovative yet practical ways to offer society and individuals the joy, fun and convenience that comes from the freedom of movement.

DAINESE...

<headline>SPRING SHOWERS? NOT A PROBLEM WITH DAINESE..! </headline>

Dainese has the uncertain British weather covered with its waterproof collection. Ideal for a light rain shower or a heavy downpour, Dainese’s waterproof items are not just practical; they are also stylish, as expected from the Italian brand.

Although a light item, which helps with drying time, the Hogan has a partially lined torso for a little extra warmth. The Hogan one-piece is available from £84.99 in sizes XS-XXL.
Another option is the Glasgow packable suit. Similar in style and practically to the Hogan, the Glasgow all-in-one offers perfect protection from the rain. Easy to wear with front opening to the knee, and neck, wrist and calf adjustments, it also comes in a handy carry case. Available from £101.99 the Glasgow packable comes in sizes XS-XXL.
Individual style
For those preferring a two-piece option, Dainese also offers a jacket and trousers combination, which can be worn together or individually to offer extra rain protection. These must-have items are waterproof, light and breathable and can be packed away into the most compact of luggage. The jacket has neck, wrist and waist adjustments and two waterproof outer pockets, while the trousers feature a drawstring waist and calf adjustments. Both the Dublin p ackable jacket and trousers are available from £58.99 in sizes XS-XXL.
Digit warmers
To keep yours hands warm in a storm, Dainese offers the Contact X-Trafit GTX glove, which has been designed by its R&D so they don’t slip on wet handlebars. Contact is ensured with Dainese’s X-Trafit™ technology where a Gore-Tex® membrane is glued directly onto the palm to avoid the internal padding slipping when the hand is twisting. As with all Dainese garments, protection is covered with carbon inserts on the knuckles and palm reinforcements. Goatskin leather makes the gloves flexible, and the waterproof Gore-Tex membrane keeps hands warm and dry. Available from £135.99 in sizes XS-XXL.
Bootylicious
To complete the waterproof collection, Dainese has footwear fit for the occasion. The TRQ-Tour Gore-Tex boot offers the practicality of a touring boot with the technology found in a sports boot. A breathable waterproof Gore-Tex membrane keeps toes warm and dry, while calf adjustments and D-stone fabric keeps everything comfortable. The boots offer Dainese’s D-Axial ankle anti-twist system, which stops the ankle from over-twisting in the event of an accident. They are available from £189.99 in sizes 39-47.
For a more casual look, is the SSC Bravo D-WP shoe, which is designed to fit around the foot as if wearing a sock, thanks to the soft leather and an elasticated insert. Not only practical wearing in warmer months, the SSC Bravo’s will keep feet warm and dry during winter riding with its waterproof D-WP insert. The shoes feature lace tie-ups and a Velcro strip to cover the top of the laces, to stop any unwanted un-tying. The SSC Bravo is available from £134.99, in black and white colours and sizes 37-46.

<headline>BELFAST GETS A TASTE OF LIFE IN THE ‘WORLD OF FERRARI’...</headline>

Over 20 Ferrari cars lit up the slipways of Titanic Belfast this weekend as Ferrari Owners’ Clubs from Ireland and Scotland gathered in the city as part of a special Ferrari event.
There, in front of the world's largest Titanic attraction, were twenty-two Ferrari cars being photographed with the sculptured shape of the new Centre providing a spectacular backdrop.
As the numerous tourists enjoyed the colourful display, the Owners Clubs toured the Centre and then headed north to the Giant’s Causeway with a drive along the famed Antrim Coast Road, acknowledged as being one of the finest driving routes in Europe.
Speaking at the special get-together, Alan Tyndall from the Irish Ferrari Owners’ Club said: “We’re delighted to welcome our friends from Scotland and to see how many of our own club members have supported this event. I hope that this will be at least an annual exchange between the two Clubs. You only have to look at the expressions of joy and surprise as the Ferraris travel through our towns and villages to realise the impact that this parade of beautiful cars has made this weekend. It is great to be able to share our pleasure of owning these cars with the Irish public.”
Mike Shakespeare, Coordinator of the Scotland Owners’ Club added “We’re delighted to have been invited to Belfast to see the sights of the city, and it was fantastic to drive along the coast to see all the world-famous sites that the country has to offer. We’re looking forward to the next event where we have invited our Irish friends across to Scotland in their own Ferrari convoy. I’d like to thank Charles Hurst for their invaluable input in hosting this event.”
Charles Hurst’s Kevin Rogan commented: “We’ve had a great turnout for the event and it’s been a real privilege to host both clubs at Titanic Belfast. We also enjoyed a fantastic drive around the coast – this is what being part of the Ferrari World is all about!”

BROOKLANDS HISTORICS...

	<headline>BENTLEYS IN ABUNDANCE AT BROOKLANDS...</headline>

For those looking to classic cars for investment, Historics at Brooklands believes the most British of marques could offer the best bang for your buck, as it brings no fewer than a dozen Bentleys to Brooklands for its forthcoming auction on Saturday 26th May.
With top Bentley models continuing to drive up prices of other exclusive examples, Historics presents a number of cars that could prove the ideal vehicles for decent returns, as Dave Selby, senior analyst with independent research organisation The Historic Automobile Group International (HAGI), comments:
"Among post-war Bentleys, it's the more exclusive coach-built models that have been leading the way in market terms. The HJ Mulliner R-type Fastback Continental, which is a constituent of the HAGI Top Index (www.historicautogroup.com), has been performing strongly and this is likely to invigorate interest in other limited production coachbuilt models which currently remain more attainable.
“In the case of pre-war models, history and provenance are key to differentiation in the market place, while late-era models of the 1980s and 1990s can offer phenomenal punch per pound if bought well, with good examples available at a fraction of their price when new," he concluded.
Bearing a striking resemblance to the R-Type Continental, Historics’ sale will feature a 1954 Bentley R-Type Coupé by Abbott of Farnham. Designed by Peter Woodgate, chassis ‘B329SP’ was supplied with a shallower radiator, lower steering column and higher-than-standard axle ratio, all designed to make optimum use of the Abbott body’s reduced weight and enhanced aerodynamics.
Following a period in the United States of America, the car returned to the UK where a no-expense-spared, seven year restoration totalling £150,000, was undertaken at Wilkinson’s of Derby.
The alluring R-Type is finished in metallic grey with contrasting red leather interior, and is expected to attract offers in the region of £95,000 - £120,000 at auction.
Equally elegant and no less sporting on account of its aluminium body, is a 1960 Bentley S2 Continental Flying Spur ‘six light’ by H J Mulliner. Originally owned by Sir Maxwell Joseph, Chairman of the Grand Metropolitan portfolio of properties in Paris, the car spent much of the 1960’s on the continent and still bears a French identity plate under the bonnet as well as French language switches on the dashboard.
The subsequent owner’s sporting interest reflected the status of such a car, with the S2 Flying Spur often seen parked in the west car park at Twickenham during rugby internationals.
Latterly the car has undergone a sympathetic £20,000 re-commission by marque specialists RR & B in Bromsgrove, and is estimated to fetch bids of between £63,000 - £73,000 on 26th May.
Pick of the pre-war Bentley’s presented by Historics, is a 1933 4¼ litre Open Tourer in the Vanden Plas style.
The chassis was originally laid and plated in 1933 as 4-B-IV and used by Bentley Motors as an experimental car. During this time, the chassis was tested with a number of different body styles, initially a Park Ward open touring design which later changed to a sporting saloon body, with the 3½ litre engine modified to accept larger inlet valves and a 6.9:1 compression ratio. It was in this version that it lapped Brooklands at an impressive 90.4mph according to Alec Harvey-Bailey's book, 'The Derby Bentleys'.
It was subsequently fitted with a new 4¼ litre engine to replace the 3½ litre unit and sold, in 1936, with a four seat, four light sports saloon body configuration by Vanvooren.
The next chassis registered was done so by Mr. Woolf Barnato, chairman of Bentley Motors, before it was latterly altered to the style of a Vanden Plas Open Tourer.
Having resided in the Midland Motor Museum between 1988 and 1996, the car has been used in numerous Bentley Drivers Club events and is superbly presented, reflecting a robust estimate of £100,000 to £140,000.
The Woolf Barnato connections continue as an early first series 3½ litre Derby Bentley owned by the Bentley Motors Chairman - prior to the 4¼ litre - is offered at No Reserve. With history and provenance key to maximising potential returns, Historics expects significant interest in the piece of ‘Bentley Boys’ history, despite the demanding nature of the restoration needed.
If instant value for money is of greater interest, more modern Bentley’s provide the ultimate in luxury driving for figures that belie their original asking price.
A 50,000 mile 2001 Red Label Arnage - benefitting from expanded leg room in the cabin, stiffer body shell, larger wheels and brakes and powered by Bentley’s own traditional V8 engine - is anticipated to attract offers in the region of £18,000 - £24,000, just a fraction of the original lofty £150,000 price tag.
For more information on all Bentley’s consigned as well as details on the full catalogue, and to attend the Historics at Brooklands auction on the afternoon of Saturday May 26th, call 0800 988 3838 begin_of_the_skype_highlighting 0800 988 3838 end_of_the_skype_highlighting, e-mail: auctions@historics.co.uk, or see the website, www.historics.co.uk.
